This tool lets you search for widows that exist on your computer. Wherever possible it tells you which programs created the windows and which companies published the programs.
If you know the handle of the window that you're looking for, enter it in the top field and click "Find by handle." A handle is a hexadecimal number. A window's handle changes each time the window gets recreated.
If you don't know the handle, use the lower section. If you check the partial match boxes, you can enter just a few letters and everything that begins with those letters will be found. When partial match is checked, a blank field matches everything. Name and class are case insensitive (in other words, capitalization doesn't matter).
