SCRIPTING COMMANDS

ToggleMouseCanChangeWinSize

New in build 317

Adds and removes the property of a DAOC window that lets you resize it by dragging the window frame with a mouse.

Syntax

ToggleMouseCanChangeWinSize ( [unconstrained] )

Parameters

Unconstrained. Optional. Use with caution. See remarks.

Examples

Hotkey ( F1 )
{
   // MOST PEOPLE SHOULD USE
   // THIS EXAMPLE, NOT THE
   // SECOND EXAMPLE

   ToggleMouseCanChangeWinSize ()
}

// OR

Hotkey ( F2 )
{
   // NOT GENERALLY RECOMMENDED
   // CAN MAKE DAOC LOOK WORSE

   ToggleMouseCanChangeWinSize ( unconstrained )
}

Remarks

A resizable window is one that you can shrink or enlarge by dragging its frame with the mouse. If a DAOC window is resizable, this command removes that property. If a DAOC window lacks that property, this command makes it resizable.

By default, the DAOC window will keep its proportions (its aspect ratio) as you resize it. This makes the window look better. This is called constraint. But if you want the ability to change the window’s proportions, write unconstrained in your script as shown in the second example above.
