Re: Phoenix Sever Support

I read their rules but I don't know how they interpret them so I have no idea. Somebody might say Mojo "modifies" the client by putting a close-window button on the client's window but actually, technically, Mojo hasn't modified the client (i.e. it hasn't changed anything in EA's files or code) beca...

Re: Phoenix Sever Support

You're welcome. :) I'll try to do it if somebody who is in charge of Phoenix confirms that these things are true: 1. It's okay (not a rule violation) to use Mojo with Phoenix. 2. It's possible for Mojo to launch DAOC for Phoenix without modifying the client. I think but I'm not sure that some or all...

Re: Mojo becoming a paid program?

First of all... thanks for finally adding an icon lol Haha you're welcome. :) Thanks a lot for taking time to tell me your perspective and how you would react to prices. I appreciate it. If its about money... have you looked into seeing if EA would be interested in purchasing Mojo to integrate it i...

Re: Mojo becoming a paid program?

I usually have 4 keys I use between the accounts, 1 2 3 & 4, other than that can't say I use much else. From my point of view as the author of two multiboxing programs this is a pretty big thing because Mythic put a "block" in DAOC that stops background copies of DAOC from receiving keystrokes. Whe...

Re: Mojo becoming a paid program?

I thought maybe a one time "license" fee for the current version might be more palatable to most than a subscription. I think you're right. People would like it a lot better if they pay money once and can use Mojo forever. Sorry if my use of the word "license" was unclear. I'm so used to the word t...

Re: Mojo becoming a paid program?

Thanks a lot Sitruc for taking time to tell me your ideas. I'm glad you're using the program and I'd feel bad if you have to stop using it, not only because you're a disabled vet and but also because you're a nice guy. I want to make sure I understand you because I'm a little puzzled by the word "do...

Re: Mojo becoming a paid program?

I wonder if you could do an general, plugin (MMO Plugin) driven program. Like Hotkeynet with an "DAOC 'Mojo' Plugin", an "WoW Plugin" and so on. I don't think plugins would save me any work. Let me try to explain why. There's always going to be some code that all the games use. Let's call that shar...

Re: Mojo becoming a paid program?

I would pay for Mojo, if i could create buttons to click, to send commands to different clients. As you probably know, you can make that kind of button with HotkeyNet, so I'm puzzled. You say HotkeyNet is great, so why not just use HotkeyNet for free instead of paying for Mojo? (For reasons I'll ex...

Re: Builds 279, 280 and 281 -- New compiler plus misc.

I just got curious and looked to see which version of the compiler is used by Broadsword to compile the DAOC client. It's Visual Studio 2003. Mythic couldn't have used that compiler originally because it didn't exist in 1999 or 2000 when they started writing the DAOC client, so we know for sure that...

Build 282 -- Note to users

I put a note in the "what's new" window letting people know that I'm thinking of charging money for Mojo, and inviting comments about it.
