Re: Buttons (quick bars)?

I added alpha (opacity) in build 295 which is now on the server. I'm holding off on right-click because I can't figure out a simple extension to the existing syntax. Also, it occurs to me that maybe I should implement not only left and right click but alt/shift/ctrl/right/left click and all 16 combi...

Build 295 -- translucent button panels

You can now make button panels translucent by setting their alpha (opacity). There are two ways to do it: (1) Right-click the top of a panel and drag the slider with your mouse, or (2) use the new alpha keyword in a script. Many thanks to Koxicain for suggesting this. A bug was fixed that prevented ...

Re: Buttons (quick bars)?

Those are both great ideas. I'll think about adding them. Thanks.

Build 284 -- Misc

I'll call this the Vaporlock build because every change was a result of suggestions or questions from Vaporlock of Gaheris, who recently returned to the game after years away. Many thanks to him. Changes in this build: -- Rewrote the popup on the "PCs with Mojo" tab that had been telling users incor...

Re: Mojo Setup

Merci pour les captures d'écran. :) Let's try a different installation file (an msi instead of setup.exe).

Please click to install Mojo in a new way.

Re: Mojo Setup

If there was any text with the number 0x80070057 on the error message, could you please post it here so I can read it? I also recommend looking for the error reports on Event Viewer because they may provide additional information. Could you please tell me whether 0x80070057 (that specific number) is...

Re: Mojo Setup

I don't know the reason for your problem but I don't think it's caused by Mojo. As far as I can tell, the download from this website is working properly (I just downloaded it and installed it to make sure). Are you running a security program that blocks the installation? Are you running non-admin Wi...

Re: Multiboxing over network?

You don't have to do anything special to make this work on two PCs. Write your script the same way you would if all the toons were on one PC. Run Mojo on both PCs and launch all the toons with Mojo. For best results, launch all toons as a team from the main PC. Click here to see all available instru...

Re: Characters/Account wont launch from Mojo

You're welcome. Don't worry, I think we'll get this fixed. The Windows installer is supposed to know where to find the msi file. You're not supposed to worry about that. Apparently the Windows installer database is corrupted. I wonder how this all happened. The installer problem is pretty common but...

Re: Characters/Account wont launch from Mojo

Looks like your Mojo files are corrupted on the computer where it's not working. I'm wondering if you installed Mojo on that computer by clicking "download" on this website or you tried to copy it from another computer. You should always install it from the website. To fix the problem, try this: 1. ...

Re: game settings bug?

I ask because i seem to get this same issue sometimes when just switching characters Yep, that's because DAOC saves user.dat every time you quit to the character selection screen even when you didn't change user.dat. An alternative way to solve this problem is, instead of quitting to the character ...

Re: game settings bug?

This used to drive me crazy. Another option is to setup your settings how you like them, quit out of daoc, and then make your user.dat file read-only in windows. Kudos to @denialoflife for that trick. Great idea. I once tried to fix this problem with Mojo. My plan was that I'd hook the functions th...

You're welcome, Sheb. Denialoflife's idea (relayed to us by Simhigi) would work too. Great idea -- hadn't occurred to me. Thanks Simhigi.

Re: game settings bug?

Maybe you're seeing a new problem but sounds like you're seeing a very old bug in DAOC. This bug is common and it has been in the client since the game began. The client stores those settings in a file called user.dat. The game tries to save those settings to disk at various times regardless of whet...

Re: Lost All Settings.

Great. Pick the most recent Mojo.fig.backup that's 85 KB, copy it to Mojo's roaming app data folder (you can find that through Folders on Mojo's main menu), and rename it to mojo.fig.xml.

Re: Lost All Settings.

Hi Tal, Mojo makes backups of that stuff for you automatically, but by now, if you've restarted Mojo several times since the power failure, the "good" backups may have beeen overwritten with empty ones. Mojo's backups are in Folders > Show Mojo Folders > Show Automatic Backups > Mojo. You're looking...

Re: Builds 279, 280 and 281 -- New compiler plus misc.

That's all true and I suspect also that after some point in time, they no longer had anybody in the office who could do it. After Mythic stopped developing Warhammer, why would they keep paying a salary for a Win32/C++ programmer? They were no longer in the business of creating Win32 software. Maybe...
