I think it's a Windows thing. Might be happening because I've been updating Mojo almost every day to keep up with Broadsword's patches. I'm about to publish another update in about ten minutes. Maybe Windows takes Mojo off the taskbar because it may regard the update as a different program.
Usually Windows Defender (or other anti-malware software) causes the problem. Put game.dll and/or game.laa.dll on your anti-malware program's exclusion list.
Show Client Info now displays the path of the loaded user.dat file. I did this for debugging purposes, to figure out whether there's a bug in the game's code that moves full screen windows to one monitor or another. To see this info, right click the on-game M-button. Many thanks to Stormbow for rai...
Thanks for letting me know, TCrea72. I'm probably going to keep doing what I did for the last ten years. Publish it for free as a hobby. But I'm not 100% sure.
Early Christmas for 144 Hz monitor owners DAOC has a built in cap of 125 frames per second. You can buy the fastest monitor on the planet, you can try every setting on your video card -- those things can't raise that cap. DAOC won't go faster. Until now. Starting today, Mojo can raise DAOC's cap to...
New in this build I had to scrap the plans for selling Mojo that I announced in the last build. Alternate download link If you have trouble installing Mojo with the download button on the main menu of this website's main pages, use this alternate download file: Alternate download (naked MSI file) I...
I have had to abandon the plans I announced a few weeks ago to sell Mojo. Everything is up in the air now. I don't know whether Mojo will be sold, whether I will continue to publish it for free, or whether it will be discontinued. To stop rumors about the planned prices, here they are in full: Price...
... when running DAoC in Fullscreen windowed it will not cover the taskbar... The way Microsoft designed Windows, this is supposed to work. When Mojo sets the window to fullscreen, it works. I don't know why Broadsword's code fails to have this effect. Would like to try to avoid this option. As far...
Two ways to hide the taskbar: 1. Resize a window so it's the size of the screen, or 2 Right click the taskbar, select settings, and turn on "Automatically hide taskbar in desktop mode." Is there a way to set the Enlarge windows to a specific scale? I'm not sure what you're asking. If you're talking ...
Somebody else reported last night that build 302 got installed in its default location (C:\Program Files (x86)\Mojoware\Mojo\) instead of the location he specified. If that's what happened to you too, it's a bug. But I don't know where the bug is. Presumably it's either in Windows Installer (part of...
I'm happy to announce that I've teamed up with a new partner, RamikOaken, a 19 year veteran of the game who is focused on bringing players back to DAoC with twitch.tv/RamikOaken. Together we're going to turn Mojo into a paid program with new features. It's going to happen soon and this build may be ...
Thanks for the info. The other problem with ClickMouse also has to do with "observed" (unspecified) x y not getting sent. It's probably the same bug. These things used to work, and I don't know what changed.
Hi Froof. Thanks for the kind words and you're very welcome. ClickMouse is supposed to work that way now. Somebody else reported another problem with CLickMouse recently, and I think it's broken. I don't know what happened to it -- maybe Broadsword changed the game, or maybe I accidentally changed s...
