HotKeyNet

Post by leechbr » Sat Nov 30, 2019 6:01 pm

Hey guys, sorry to post it here, I never played DAOC in my life. I just came to ask something about HotKeyNet

As I could see Rob was the developer of that right ?

So please Rob, is there any way to use Shift as Key and not as a Modifier?

Seems HotKeyNet forum is not working that's why I came here to ask it. Sorry about that.

Thanks :)

Wow !!! I was able to make it work after read this:
People also frequently assume that the hotkey trigger must be the same as the hotkey's output. Not so.To illustrate this, here's a hotkey that gets triggered by "3" like the one above but sends "4":

<Hotkey 3>
<SendPC local>
<SendWin MyGameWindow>
<Text 4>
So I tried it:
<Hotkey ScrollLockOn z>
<SendLabel w1>
<Key LShift>
And worked ! Thanks rob ! :D

This is an older thread, but thought it would ask.

I can use a software kvm program to send a key stroke to a 2nd computer and have it trigger something in HotKeyNet. Mojo only sends to DAoC windows but would it be possible to have Mojo send keys to Hotkeynet as well? I can get a hotkey in HotKeyNet to trigger hotkeys in Mojo but not the other way around. That way you can get the best out of both programs.

Like you said, Mojo only sends to DAOC windows. I'll think about adding this feature. Thanks for the suggestion.
