Possible to disable/enable sets of hotkeys?

Post by eloh87 » Sun Jan 27, 2019 11:21 am

I was just curious if there is a way to use a set of hotkeys for one skill bar then another set of hotkeys using same keys for another skill bar. So like enabling and disabling certain sections of my hotkey file depending on what skill bar im on. So if I push Shift + 1, hotkeys 1, 2, 3..etc do various things and if i switch bar Shift +2 then 1, 2, 3... etc do other things. Thanks, hope im making sense here.

If the hotkeys trigger quickbar slots, this is very easy. Just make the hotkeys send 1, 2, 3, etc. For example:

Code: Select all

Hotkey ( 1 )
{
   Key ( 1 )
}
If the hotkeys don't trigger quickbar slots, then the way you change from one set of hotkey definitions to a different set is by unloading the current hotkey file and loading a different one. You can make hotkeys that switch the files, and Mojo switches in a fraction of a second. Only certain sections of the files would be different.

To make the hotkey(s) that switch files, use LoadHotkeyFile.

To make files that are identical except for certain sections, use #include.
So like enabling and disabling certain sections of my hotkey file
You can't exactly enable and disable sections but if you do what I just described (unload/load files) you get the same result.
