I updated to 2.86 and all my toons, settings, and everything are gone. It's like I just freshly installed the program.
I'm running Windows 10 Pro.
All my toons are gone
Re: All my toons are gone
Mojo never erases that info no matter what you do, not even if you update or uninstall Mojo. Did you log into Windows under a different name (user account)? If you do that, Mojo can't see the info but it's still there under the original name.
Or did you reformat your hard disk or install a new hard disk or reinstall Windows? That could erase the info.
Mojo stores toons, accounts, teams, etc., under a particular user account in this file:
c:/users/[ACCOUNT_NAME]/appdata/roaming/mojoware/mojo/Mojo.fig.xml

Nope. I haven't changed a single thing except updating Mojo.
This is what my Mojo.fig file looks like now.

Re: All my toons are gone
Mojo makes a series of backups of that file so you may be able to find a copy of the real file. Use Folders on main menu to find the backups. By now, though, all the backups may be copies of this new blank file.

Re: All my toons are gone
They appear to be backups of the blank now. I'm going to try to pull files off my laptop. Old files are better than no files.
Re: All my toons are gone
I'm sorry this happened. Mojo is nine years old and I can't remember anybody else reporting that the settings file got erased while Mojo updated but maybe there's a bug in Mojo that makes this happen occasionally. Unfortunately I'm away from home without a PC for a few weeks so I can't look at Mojo's source code to investigate.
